Ultroser® G Serum Replacement is designed to replace FCS (fetal bovine serum) in cell culture media to create standardized milieu conditions.
Unit: 20 ml (lyophilized)
RUO
Ultroser® G serum substitute is optimized for human genetics. Ultroser® G Serum Replacement is designed to replace FCS (fetal bovine serum) in cell culture media to create standardized milieu conditions. It has been specially developed for the in vitro culture of adherent i.e. anchorage-dependent cells.
As a serum substitute, Ultroser G has a concentration five times higher than fetal calf serum, i.e. 2 % of the reconstituted Ultroser G corresponds to approx. 10 % of the fetal calf serum in the basal medium.
Ultroser® G is specially tested in the primary culture of amniotic fluid cells to ensure its use in human genetic chromosome analysis (karyotyping).
