Composition

Amniogrow Plus is supplied frozen and ready to use and contains modified alpha-MEM, antibiotics, L-glutamine, pre-tested fetal bovine serum FBS, hormones, growth factors, phenol red as a pH indicator and is buffered with sodium bicarbonate. The homogeneous "ready to use" formulation reduces technical errors and contamination of the culture. In addition, Amniogrow Plus supports more efficient cell attachment and cell growth, leading to early chromosome analysis.

With Amniogrow Plus, Cytogen offers a medium that fulfills the requirements of the European Commission's Directive 98/79/EC and bears the CE mark as an IVD product.

However, each user must check (validate) the medium in their own environment before using it in the diagnostic routine to ensure that it is suitable under the specific local conditions.
