Special medium for bone marrow cells harvested by puncture. The special formula supports rapid cell growth.

Composition
Marrowgrow is supplied frozen and ready to use and contains modified alpha-MEM, antibiotics, L-glutamine, pre-tested fetal bovine serum FBS, hormones, growth factors, phenol red as a pH indicator and is buffered with sodium bicarbonate. The homogeneous "ready to use" formulation reduces technical errors and contamination of the culture.

With CytogenMarrow, Cytogen offers a medium that fulfills the requirements of Directive 98/79/EC of the European Commission and bears the CE mark as an IVD product.
However, each user must check (validate) the medium in their own environment before using it in the diagnostic routine to ensure that it is suitable under the specific local conditions.
